Pam brings more than 20 years of heartfelt leadership to mission-driven organizations across the social impact sector. She helps organizations grow stronger by guiding strategy, building capacity, and deepening community engagement for lasting, measurable impact. Passionate about uniting people around a shared purpose, Pam cultivates trusted partnerships with nonprofit peers, corporate partners, donors, and government agencies to expand impact and support long-term success.
Pam is a graduate of Lipscomb University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Pam is committed to continuously expanding her leadership skills.
Teresa Watts
Program Director

Teresa brings 26 years of experience supporting the strategic direction of churches and non-profit organizations, leading teams, developing people, and setting goals and budgets while pursuing the mission and vision of the organization. Her most recent leadership role was launching a nonprofit mental health agency for kids impacted by trauma.
Teresa is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education. Teresa is an avid reader and lifelong learner who is passionate about living out her mission for Jesus.
Tyler Chapman

Tyler’s background includes 4 years of marketing and social media management experience. With a passion for helping others through connection and organization, Tyler utilizes his skills in communication to foster relationships and impact his local community. Tyler was excited to join Begin Anew’s mission to help students achieve their goals and break the cycle of poverty.
Tyler graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a degree in Music Composition. He is an enthusiastic problem solver with an emphasis on people first.
Bonnie Matthews

Bonnie has served in various nonprofit roles over the past 25 years, from fundraising and financial management to community engagement and professional development. She enjoys building human-centered systems for social impact. Her greatest delight is connecting partners to bring their dreams to life.
Bonnie is a graduate of New York University, where she received her BA in Art History and MA in History, with research focused on Christian foundations of the early United States and racial reconciliation in the Pentecostal church.

Shane Hitchcock

Shane se mudó a Nashville en 2009 junto con su esposa Leigh y sus dos hijas Hannah y Rebekah. Recibió una licenciatura en Psicología de Mississippi College y una Maestría en Divinidad en Educación Cristiana del Seminario Teológico Bautista del Sur. Shane tiene una pasión por trabajar con estudiantes y equiparlos para la vida. Shane sirvió en el ministerio estudiantil en IN, MS, FL, KY, y TN por más de 15 años.
Christopher Hodgin

Christopher graduated from Trevecca University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and an emphasis in music business. His past experience is in the music industry working with artists and music executives. Christopher has a passion for serving adult students and glorifying the Lord through fostering relationships and connecting with others. His hobbies include listening and playing music, reading, and exercising.
Reid Richter
Franklin Campus Program Manager

Reid moved to Nashville in 2024 and has been working in the production industry during that time. He also serves in college ministry leadership at his church, developing curriculum for small groups. In 2025, he began volunteering at the Woodbine campus, assisting with administrative duties as well as teaching. During that time, he developed a passion for the mission and vision of Begin Anew, and he is excited to be part of the program team, serving students in the Franklin area. He is also continuing his education, taking online classes at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Shelley Walters

Shelley has dedicated 20 years to serving adult learners in community college settings, specializing in teaching English and developmental education. She is passionate about discipleship and creating supportive learning environments that foster both academic and spiritual growth. She holds a B.A. from the University of San Diego and an M.A. from San Diego State University, and is certified in developmental education through Appalachian State University. Shelley began her journey with Begin Anew as a volunteer at the Franklin campus and is excited to continue supporting its mission.
