A native of Bowling Green, KY, Amy holds a Bachelor’s in Piano Performance from Western Kentucky University and Masters' in Piano Performance and Piano Accompanying from Florida State University.  She has worked for Glimmerglass Opera (Cooperstown, NY), Des Moines Metro Opera, Augusta Opera, Nevada Opera and Opera Roanoke. She and husband Randy moved to Nashville in 1998 to join the staff at Nashville Opera, where she served in the dual position of Chorus Master and Accompanist through 2023. From 2003-2023, she was also Opera Director of the Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts. She continues to freelance as vocal coach and collaborative pianist. 

In 2023, Amy became Pianist and Sanctuary Worship Coordinator for Forest Hills Baptist Church.  She partners with Dr. Scott Shepherd to rehearse and oversee their 90-voice Sanctuary Choir and orchestra, acting as resident arranger and composer. Prior roles include Worship Leader and Choir Director for Riverside Fellowship and Crievewood Baptist. She and Randy founded RANDAMWILL Music in 2010, the online source of Amy’s compositions and arrangements.  Her sacred choral, vocal, piano and instrumental music can be purchased in recorded, printed, and digital formats, and her four solo recordings can be streamed online. Amy and Randy have a son and daughter-in-law in Hermitage, Tate and Olivia Williams.
